mezzo soloist with piano and flute accompaniment. A women's chorus, preferably
off stage, provides the "moaning" of the trees in the background.

COME
UNTO ME AND BE YE SAVED
We
were living in Germany in 1999 when our English-speaking LDS ward Relief
Society was given an assignment to provide a special musical number for a
stake women's conference. The general theme of the conference was
taken from 2nd Nephi (Book of Mormon); my frequent collaborator Tammy Hann adapted
a couple of the verses from that scripture into lyrics which I set to music.
The sisters of our Relief Society (Munich 4th Ward) learned the song and sang
it at the conference with me accompanying on the piano, and we received
numerous compliments on the song (in both German AND English). The
following year, I submitted the song to the LDS Church Writing Contest and it
was awarded the "Award of Distinction" (first place) in the Relief
Society division of the contest. Price: $15 for 30-copy Edition
and $25 for 100 copy edition.
